There are publicly accessible streets and squares between the three buildings. With UID the entertainment area around the ArenA Boulevard is further provided. The houses provide more liveliness and dynamism in the area.

.

The sand castle
Since 1987, the building, nicknamed "The Sand Castle", has been the (head) office of ING Bank. In 2017 the building was declared a municipal monument. At the end of 2019, the new ING head office on Flierbosdreef will be delivered, releasing the building at Bijlmerplein 888. Seven out of ten towers are being transformed into medium-term and free-sector rental properties. The AICS South East international school will be located in the 3 westernmost towers of the building, towers A, B and C. The transformation of the building starts at the beginning of 2020 after the departure of ING to their new head office on the Bijlmerdreef. The delivery of the houses is expected in the first half of 2022.

.

Dreef tower
The Dreefkavel in ArenAPoort West is transforming developer Provast by modernizing the existing office building and immediately building a new residential tower next to it with an underground parking garage. At approximately 133 meters, the Dreeftoren will be the highest residential tower in Amsterdam. There will be a total of 312 homes, to be subdivided into social rental homes (20%), mid-segment homes (40%) and free-sector homes (40%). The start of construction for both the office tower and the residential tower is planned for the fourth quarter of 2019. We expect that the Dreefkavel will be ready by mid 2022.

.

Innovation district
In 2017 developers G&S Vastgoed and OVG Real Estate started the construction of a new ING office of 40,000 m2. This office will soon be part of the open innovation campus of ING. Until 2024 the innovation district will develop into a place where researchers, students, entrepreneurs and employees of all kinds of companies work together on innovation issues in the field of digital identity and urbanization. The Traveler restaurant is also being built here. The streets around the innovation district will be given a new layout that matches the campus grounds. NSI has plans to start a new development in the adjacent Laanderpoort building.

.

Change =
At the Bijlmerdreef - Dolingadreef intersection, the Change = campus community was delivered in 2019 for young people and starters on the labor market. In addition to the approximately 600 social rental properties, there are also sitting and flexible workspaces, meeting rooms and sports facilities for tenants.
