Deutsche Bahn will invest millions in faster connection Amsterdam-BerlinPublished on 24-09-2018
The German railway is going to invest hundreds of millions in a faster train connection with the Netherlands. This investment will reduce the travel time between the Dutch capital and the German capital with no less than half an hour. Time will be saved by stopping at less train stations and in Germany by not changing from locomotive.
The objective is that the faster connection will be bringing passengers from Amsterdam to Berlin in 2023. In this way the railway is trying to compete better with the air traffic.
