Published on 12-11-2020

The A'DAM Toren is running away with the latest Rabo Real Estate Award, which looked at the most distinctive projects of the past thirty years. One project was selected from each decade. The A'DAM Tower is praised for its transformation into a new icon, in an open and accessible location with plenty of public functions.

This week, Provada took place, the annual party for everyone who has or thinks they have something to do with real estate professionally. Like many other events, this could not take place physically, so they opted for a virtual performance. It was already known that Provada 2020 would also herald the latest implementation of the Rabo Vastgoedprijs, a prize for distinctive real estate projects in terms of social or sustainable impact.

The prize ultimately went to the A’DAM Toren. The A’DAM Toren was one of the three nominees, spread over three decades of the Rabo Vastgoedprijs. In 2018, the A’DAM Tower had already won the prize. This time, the project faced two other former winners, namely the Haagse Stadhuis, which won the prize in 1996, and the residential and shopping complex "t Sas in Breda, winner in 2004.
