Published on 14-01-2020
European real estate investor Nordbridge has completed its first acquisition of an office building in the Netherlands. This concerns the building located at Roemer Visscherstraat 43-45 in Amsterdam that was purchased from a.s.r. real estate. A purchase price has not been announced.
The office building of 930 m2 in total is located at a high end location at Vondelpark and is partly let to Houlihan Lokey. In the coming months Nordbridge will upgrade the building and the remaining vacancy of 550 m2 will be renovated into high-quality office space that matches the quality and location of the building.

Nordbridge, which is actively looking for high end commercial real estate in the Benelux and Germany, has acquired the building together with CityState. This party will also be responsible for the commercial asset management of the building. L’Étoile Properties is responsible for property and project management.
Increasing demand
Mans Vroom, Partner at CityState: "We are very happy that we were able to advise Nordbridge on this acquisition and that we will continue to be involved in the further commercial process. This is an excellent acquisition at a recognizable and exclusive location at a time when rising demand is being dampened by a declining supply, which in turn stimulates rental growth. ”

Floris Keunen (BNP Paribas Real Estate): “We are proud that we were able to sell this proposition to a relationship from our international network. In collaboration with CityState, Nordbridge has been given the comfort to successfully complete this transaction. This transaction underlines the increasing demand from international investors for high-quality real estate located in Amsterdam.
